14k Gold Vermeil Tiny Initial and Birthstone Necklace - Gemstone Initial Pendant - Custom Birthstone Personalized Gift

14k Gold Vermeil Tiny Initial and Birthstone Necklace - Gemstone Initial Pendant - Custom Birthstone Personalized Gift

Ask a question

Make your necklace extra personalized with your choice of initial and birthstone. The tiny initial is stamped with one letter and is ~ 9mm round. The birthstone is set in a clean, simple bezel and is ~4mm round.

Charms come on an extra-fine, 14k goldfill cable chain. My standard chain length is 18" but if you prefer 16" or 20" just let me know in the message to seller box during checkout.

The second photo shows birthstones in order starting with January (garnet). The model photo displays same necklace but in sterling silver.

Birthstone guide:
January - Garnet
February - Amethyst
March - Aquamarine
April - Cubic Zirconia
May - Emerald
June - Alexandrite
July - Ruby
August - Peridot
September - Sapphire
October - Pink Tourmaline
November - Yellow Topaz
December - Blue Zircon

About my charm necklaces:
- If you like delicate yet modern accessories, these charms are for you. After fabricating, I stamp each charm with an itty-bitty letter and then prep them with a soft, satin finish. Then it's time to plate them in a thick layer of 14k gold.
- The chains are a lovely, superfine cable made of 14k goldfill. You can choose from 16", 18" or 20".

Why personalized jewelry?:
It's beautiful AND meaningful! (I wear one of my charm necklaces everyday in honor of my 2 year old daughter, Violet, and my husband. Violet loves to point to it and say, "Mama's 'Biolet' n' Papa necklace." It makes me smile to think of them when I'm wearing it!

Why vermeil:
Vermeil jewelry is a very high quality + affordable alternative to solid gold. In the U.S., jewelry that is sold as vermeil must meet a standard plating thickness -- and it shows! Vermeil gold also means the original piece was sterling silver -- not a base metal like nickel or brass. I hope you enjoy the warm, rich gold tones of my vermeil pieces!

A note on caring for your vermeil jewelry:
Line a bowl with aluminum foil. Add warm water. Add equal parts salt and baking soda and stir with a wooden spoon. Drop in your jewelry and let soak for a few minutes. Wipe off any tarnish with a clean, soft cloth and store jewelry in a dry, air-tight location. Good as new!
